That is always the dilemma. When you buy something new, and someone offers you you an extended warranty the automatic reflex is always to say no, what for, this thing is new what could go wrong? I know that is the way I react. But the more I think about it the more it makes sense to buy a genuine warranty, especially when you are buying those big ticket items, such as cars, boats or RV’s. Something always goes wrong and by sheer (un) luck, it always seems to be when the warranty just ran out. I know, I’ve been burned already.

A genuine warranty offers a variety of extended service contracts on Cars, Boats and RV’s.

  • Their automobile divisions offers unique warranty options and specializes in luxury and exotic cars like Ferraris and Lamborghini’s. Some of the options are choice of deductible, unlimited mileage, factory style coverage and minimal exclusions.
  • All types of RV’s and Motor homes are covered with a myriad of options including coverage for used motor homes. Coverage choices include wear and tear, factory, luxury, coach and chassis and road hazard protection. Coverage is included for travel anywhere in North America.
  • The Marine division offers coverage for vessels valued up to $35 million.
    • Marine Coverage for vessels under $25k.
Offer coverage for hoisting allowances, on-water towing, factory replacement parts, and low $25 deductibles.
    • Yacht coverage is for vessels between $250k and $35 mil. Among other things included are No deductibles, 100% factory replacement parts, multiple repair occurrences, and freedom to chose your own repair facility.

When you are thinking about of those Metal Buildings you want to put in in your back yard, take into consideration several factors. Cost, purpose, size, color, openings, and amenities. Another very important thing to think about is the company you are dealing with and whether or not they use recycled materials in their Metal Buildings .

  • Costs: can range from around a thousand to several thousand for the larger ones.
  • Purpose: there are many types of Metal buildings and storage systems. Some of them are:
    • Agricultural Metal Buildings
      Commercial Metal Buildings
      Industrial Metal Buildings
      Residential Metal Buildings
      Metal Storage Buildings
      Mini-Storage Buildings
      Quikbilt Tubular Steel Buildings
  • Size: Pre-engineered buildings and Quick-built buildings come in standard sizes or can be build to suit your desired dimensions.
  • Color: there are a variety of colors to choose from ranging from the standard whites, greys, beishes and browns to the more colorful reds, greens and blues.
  • Openings: Where you want the openings and what the purpose of the openings is very important. Whether you need a roll up door, sliding door or 3 windows, whatever your need can be accomodated.
  • Amenities: some of the amenities available on pre-engineered Metal Building are different types of doors, windows, awnings, walls and roofs.

But most importantly make sure that the company is eco-friendly. Apex is proud to be known as a “GREEN” corporation, with the eco-friendly practice of using recycled metal in the production of their buildings. Check them out.

This Earth Day Live Lighter, Live Happier.

This spring in honor of Earth Month, why not adopt some new habits to help to lighten your impact on the environment?Try our tips to cut down on your paper, plastic and water consumption -
we promise you won’t miss it. Plus, you’ll do a world of good!

Celebrate National Reusable Bag Day with Earth Share on April 21!

Help Earth Share and Earthwise Bag Company promote the use of reusable bags in honor of the second annual National Reusable Bag Day!Many grocery stores have implemented bag recycling programs, but transportation of these bags to and from stores requires valuable resources. And 99% of the 100 billion plastic shopping bags used in the U.S. are never recycled, with a single bag taking up to 1,000 years to fully break down. What can you do?

Bring your own cloth or fabric bags when you shop!

If you grocery shop once a week, in five years you’ll have kept about 250 to 1,000 grocery bags out of our landfills. When one ton of plastic bags is reused or recycled, the energy equivalent of 11 barrels of oil is saved! Look for Earthwise reusable bags in more than 2,000 retail locations across the country throughout the month of April - your purchase of these bags will help support Earth Share.
Learn more: www.reusablebagday.org

Re-use the plastic bags you already have:
- Old bags make great in-car trash containers.
- Use them as shoe protectors in the garden.
- Re-use them to clean up kitty litter, or to pick up dog droppings when walking your pet.
- Use them in your smaller waste bins around the house.
- Fill a few with shredded paper and tie them off for cheap, reusable packing materials. They’re also a handy way to maintain the shape of your favorite tote.
- Cut a slit in your bags and use them to protect clothes from dust, moths, and other pests.
- Take them with you for easy disposal of diapers.

Don’t Wallow in Water Waste

Try implementing these handy water-related energy tips at home. These quick fixes take little to no time at all!In the shower - If you have to mix your hot water with cold, your thermostat is up too high and you are wasting energy. Why heat up water just to cool it down? Simply adjust the thermostat in your water heater to your perfect temperature. In the washing machine - Using cold water instead of warm cuts down on energy use by 90%! In fact, using cold water is often better for your clothes.
In the bottle - Buy a water filter and drink water from the tap in a reusable bottle — that’s where 40 percent of all bottled water comes from anyway. The average American drinks 22.6 gallons of bottled water a year. Making all that plastic releases over four pounds of carbon dioxide per person and consumes a surprising amount of petroleum (.005 barrels, or nearly a quart of oil per person).

Investing in the “Green”, or the foreign currency of other nations. The Foreign Exchange Market also known as Forex, or FX market. In simple terms it is a market where one foreign currency is exchanged for another. In more complex terms Forex Trading is the largest financial market in the world, it is a place where governments, central banks, large investment banking firms and huge corporations and speculators go to play. Individuals are only able to participate through broker or banks.

Exchange rates for currency fluctuate based on many factors. Generally rates are influenced by what is going on in the economy, political conditions and the psychology of the market of a particular nation. But bottom line the prices are the result of supply and demand.

The major trading centers are located in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, from there the movers and shakers play. This means that Forex Trading takes place 24 hr a day.

Trading in the currency markets can be a very profitable venture but it is a very complex system that needs to be studied carefully and fully to understand the underlying risks that can come with trading Foreign Currencies. It is important to do your homework first before trying out any kind of investments, so that you go into it fully knowledgeable about the investment that you are getting into so that you can steer clear of foreign currency scams.

California’s not only known for it’s beaches but also it’s vineyards. If you get a chance to visit, don’t forget to tour Sonoma Valley, the birthplace of the California Wine industry. The Valley of the Moon, made famous by the novel written by Jack London is an area once inhabited by the Miwok, Wintun and Pomo peoples, and was selected by the Franciscan Monks from Spain for the construction of what was to be the last of their twenty one Missions in California built in honor of Saint Francisco Solano. The first wineries were founded back in the late 1850’s in the area of the Valley of the Moon, in such towns as Sonoma, Glenn Ellen, and Boyes Hot Springs.

But wine is not all you’ll find in Sonoma Valley, there is of course the Mission San Francisco Solano, not to be missed. The Botanical Gardens at Quarryhill, near the town of Glenn Ellen. An absolute treasure is the Jack London State Historic Park, full of history and romanticism. There you can visit the burned out ruins of the mansion he was building when it was caught in one of California’s famous wild fires, and the cottage where he wrote some of his novels and the place where he died which is now a museum. There is lots of Spanish and Mexican historical sites that make up the history of California, such as Sonoma State Historic Park which include the Sonoma Presidio.

Lying only an hour north of San Francisco it makes for a terrific day trip or an even better overnight stay and if you are a wine aficionado then this is the place for you. Sonoma Valley probably has the most concentration of wineries than any other place in California, although you can find wineries up and down the state. It would probably be best to spend a weekend there stay in one of their romantic Inns and bask in the beauty of the area and go winery hoping. But before you go back home don’t forget to get a couple Wine Racks and a couple of cases of wine to take back a little piece of the Valley of the Moon.
