Madrid look to adjust plans to bring Miguel back from Girona.

Davies has long linked with a move to Real Madrid. With the player yet to accept a new offer from Bayern Munich with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2025. However, things have changed in recent months as Ferland Mendy has impressed. And looks set to extend his stay at the Bernabeu with Carlo Ancelotti backing him. 

Real Madrid are reportedly considering a summer move to sign former Girona boy Miguel Gutierrez, who could be available for a cheaper fee.

Miguel is a product of Real Madrid’s youth system who move to Girona in the summer of 2022 for €4m. With Los Blancos having the option to buy him back for €8m or receive a 50 per cent cut of the transfer fee. The 23-year-old left-back has a €40m release clause. 

Real Madrid are willing to pay €8m to sign Mikel this summer. With the Los Blancos having the option to either keep the player. Or sell the 23-year-old left-back for around €30-40m to make a profit this summer.
