Sevilla plan to extend Juanlu contract to avoid other teams.

Sevilla are considering extending Juanlu Sanchez’s contract to raise his current release clause.

Ufabet reported on Friday that Sevilla are considering extending Juanlu Sanchez’s contract, with the main aim being to increase his release clause from the current €20m.

Juanlu is a product of Sevilla’s youth system, having broken into the first-team last season and was part of Spain’s squad that won gold at แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ the Paris Olympics last summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering Juanlu as a back-up option if they fail to sign Liverpool’s England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

German club RB Leipzig are also reported to be planning to bring Juanlu on loan for the second half of the season with the option to sign permanently after that.

However, doing a deal in 2025 does appear to be complicate. Earlier this week, it was report that RB Leipzig were aiming to sign Juanlu on loan with an option to buy, although on the back of this, Sevilla are now moving to agree a new contract with the young defender.

Juanlu’s existing deal runs out in 2026, so there would be some jeopardy if he does not extend by the end of the season. Sevilla are hoping to increase his €20m release clause, which if they do, would provide more security if Real Madrid do come knocking in the future.

However, Sevilla are planning to negotiate with Juanlu to extend his contract beyond 2026 to reduce the risk of losing him this summer, and a key target for the Sevilla team is to increase his release clause from the current €20m.
